Category 2:

The 3G Tab runs Android 2.3.3, comes with 512 MB RAM, 7 inch capacitive touchscreen, WIFI, Bluetooth, 2MP back and VGA front camera with 4GB internal memory with expandability option. However some may argue that there are a few other economical tabs that have slightly better specs.

It has a pretty standard 7 inch touchscreen and the standard connectivity features WIFI, Bluetooth and so on. It plays HD videos and has a 2MP front facing camera. The Slide is an in between sort of a tablet that is neither the best nor the worst and can be an option to consider.

 Category 3:

  1. Micromax Funbook-Price Rs 6500: This tablet by the Indian youth oriented communications brand is one of the few tablets to offer Android 4.0 ICS out of the box and run at 1.2 GHz processor.
